When you make a donation to the SPCO Youth Chamber Music Competition, you become a partner in this exciting event that motivates, educates and celebrates young people playing chamber music.  All gifts will receive recognition in the program at the Finals/Winners recital.  

The Friends of The SPCO is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

Volunteer Opportunities

The SPCO Youth Chamber Music Competition could use your help.  

Please consider volunteering for:

  • Registration desk - Saturday Semifinals 
  • Guides - escort groups from their rehearsal room to the performance space
  • Page turner for pianists (if needed).  Must be experienced
  • Greeters - welcome and direct people as they enter competition spaces
  • Ushers - distribute programs at the Finals/Winners Recital 
  • Hospitality - assist with snacks at Semifinals and Finals and the reception following the Winners Recital

Venue for Semifinal Round will be MacPhail Center for Music, 501 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Finals/Winners Recital will take place at the SPCO Center in the John and Ruth Huss Music Room and the adjoining practice spaces on the third floor of the Historic Hamm Building, 408 Saint Peter Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
